About the Artist

Bethany has been an artist her whole life, drawing her first recognizable figure at just two years old, and discovering the field of illustration by writing and illustrating her own stories in childhood. She specialized in illustration in her first degree, honed her skills through a graduate degree, and has spent over a decade since perfecting her craft. She paints mainly in acrylic on hardboard in an expressive realist style and has studied and collaborated with master artists and illustrators in Canada and the United States. She can bring a professional result to any painting, genre and subject matter.

Highly Skilled Painter and Well-defined Creative Process

Production:

Bethany can create a finished piece and/or a series of paintings in communication with a client or collector on time and within budget. Acrylic paint dries rather quickly and Bethany photographs her own work in line with a well-practiced creative process. She can also frame original paintings herself.

Equipment:

Bethany has invested heavily in her training, ongoing art and product production, art supplies, computer and photography equipment. Because of this she can carry a project through intelligently and professionally from start to finish achieving best results.

Studio:

Bethany produces and stores all her artwork and products in one location. This means she can streamline her work and control the quality while maintaining and improving the product and artwork’s value over time.

Paint:

Bethany paints mainly with Winsor & Newton Professional Acrylics, noted for their advanced resin technology and expert colour making heritage, since 1832.
